We offer many features that go above and beyond industry standards.  Other builders often boast of features, especially energy eficient ones, that don't even go beyond code requirements.  We invite you to compare some of our most important standard features to other builders.

  • Walls and roof made from Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) for superior insulation, strength, and air tightness.
  • Basement floor insulated
  • Basement walls insulated to (or beyond) code requirements for above-ground walls.
  • Enegy use at least 50% lower than a standard new house of the same size
  • Large basement windows (with window wells) for light, ventilation, and to allow for a code compliant, high-value finished basement
  • WaterSense compliant plumbing to increase your comfort and save on your water bills as well as hot water heating costs
  • Ventilation with smart controls to ensure that you have enough fresh air without paying to condition too much fresh air
  • All first floor finishes are hard surfaces (generally hardwood or Marmoleum)
  • Fibercement lap siding (for the look of wood siding without the maintenance) with 15 year paint warranty
  • Rainscreen installation of siding to protect the house and siding from water damage.
